Animaniacs has always been quite deep for a "children's show" as it was always targeted towards adults as well. With the reboot, I feel the target audience has completely shifted towards adults, or to be more precise, towards the people who were kids during the original show. Children nowadays can still enjoy it, but they will miss out...
